The installation of this rack takes place in a 5.25" bay.Quiet companionAlmost the whole body of this mobile rack is made of metal, which is very efficient in heat dissipation. Therefore a fan is not needed to cool down the 3.5" HDD. A rubber cushion is built inside the tray in order to reduce vibration noises.Plenty to offerThe SATA III connector (compatible with SATA I/II/II) is a so-called NSS connector (non-scratch-SATA). Up to 50000 HDD exchanges can take place without causing any issue.A lock makes sure than no unauthorized person will have access to the media.
