For network device with no built-in support for PoEA splitter is used to split the power and data in an Ethernet cable into two separate cables, which then can be connected to a network device that has no built-in support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). The PoE Splitter 5 V is IEEE 802.3af compliant and can be powered from any Axis midspan or PoE switch. The splitter is easily installed, with no need for system reconfiguration.
